  I got stranded in Hammond, IN 2.5 miles into my ride after the failure of a brand new Pirelli Velo tire. After a rescue ride to the nearest bike shop in Calumet City, I found myself at Dream Bikes. They were kind enough to open early in order to get me back on the road at an amazing price. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. This is unlike like any other bike shop I have been to, all the bikes and supplies are donated and all the employees are at risk teens learning a trade. This is truly a community bike shop.
